This special issue of the Annals is dedicated to the memory of Morton Herskowitz, D.O. It includes articles by Dr. Herskowitz on orgone therapy, children, etc., a color reproduction of his painting of Wilhelm Reich, and tributes to him by former patients, students, and colleagues. Also included are numerous photos documenting his life, and a complete listing of his publications. This issue also contains articles by others concerning Reich’s analysis of fascism, a partial replication of Reich’s experiments on natural organization of protozoa, an interview with Eleanor Roosevelt from the early 1950’s concerning several aspects of Reich’s work, and clinical vignettes illustrating orgone therapy of children. Included also is a review by Dr. Herskowitz of Orgonomic Midwifery by Peter Jones, and obituary tributes to orgone therapists Karl Fossum and Selma Stoll, and for long-time director of the Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust, Mary Boyd Higgins.
