Grimes Gathering of B-25 Mitchell Bombers Urbana, Ohio - Dayton, Ohio Grimes Field | Wright Patterson AFB

Hosted by the Champaign Aviation Museum, we visit the B-25 Mitchell's that joined the Grimes Gathering of B-25s, Urbana, Ohio at Grimes Field Urbana Municipal Airport during the April 2017 events for the 75th Anniversary of the Doolittle Raid over Tokyo. Eleven B-25 medium size bombers participated in the annual gathering event, including a fly-over during the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force’s wreath laying ceremony in the presence of the last living Doolittle Raider, Richard “Dick” Cole.
