Visual is, as Merriam-Webster dictates, something (as a graphic) that appeals to the sight and is used for effect or illustration. Thus it is no surprise that our main goal is the usage of “visuals” to appeal to our readers and showcase our work.

This magazine, Visual, is entirely created by a group of students whose aspirations are quite simple: to make their work public. The magazine was a creative idea by the students from the Illustration Student Association (ISA) at the University of Central Florida (UCF). The Association was created for the purpose of improving the illustration program at UCF and making others aware of this particularly large art genre.

Each monthly Magazine issue will have a theme. The theme will determine what the set of illustrations will revolve around so as our October issue we have chosen Halloween as our main inspiration.
