In Jan. Of this year / 2010 I turned sixty and I started writing songs I got serious and sent four of my songs to an international songwriting contest in Nashville , although I didn't win I received a Directors Award for my song Countryfied, I was then signed to a writers contract. In April /2010 I sent four of my best songs for consideration of other Artists however there was no interest shown , so I decided to record the songs myself I titled the Album "Countryfied" and that is the lead song The Album will be ready for launch mid Nov. and I will film a music video to support the launch. I have also teamed up with Children's Hospital B.C. Canada and two dollars will go to the Foundation from every Album sold The Album will consist of ten songs nine songs are my originals and one song is a cover song written by Mel Tilis and recorded by Kenny Rodgers except my version is completely different and will surprise a lot of people.
