DIOGEN pro art magazine...Paul cezanne...No 68...July August 2016 Art influenza...Paul Cezanne was a French painter whose artistic reflection was a link between impressionism from the late nineteenth and Cubism from early twentieth century. He was certainly one of the major figures in the French art scene of the time with a decisive influence not only of domestic further development, but also of European art scene. Art historians place him among the post-Impressionism, along with Van Gogh and Gauguin. He is called very often as the father of the new painting and the progenitor of modern art. In the beginning he was under visible influence of Baroque and Romanticism and later in his works we can find the influence of Monet (see DIOGENE pro art magazine no. 46 of 1.4.2014.g.) and impressionism...
