Linoleum's beginnings, whence people would draw basic matrixes by hand then rolling them into the base material; this way of doing created some of the most expressive human handiwork into what was one of the first industrial processes entitled to cover large surface of one's own home living areas, those loaded with pedestrian action;

Here I took simply shot a piece of the old remains, found hiding under a few more modern layers of the upgraded stuff;

It was so refreshingly alive compared to those younger siblings, all modernly rigid, cold colors, impersonal, making me wonder why my feet would be interested into walking over the stuff;

But here, now, a sunshine shard just got the whole space suffused with impish colors, youthful, exuberant, just alive;

It grabbed me back into those moments, one hundred years ago whence you had to really be active as a physical entity in order to get things done, in a way forced into pushing into the material world some of your existential aspirations, hopes.
