Knitting instructions for a reusable cotton/linen market bag using 100 grams of sport weight yarn in 2 colors. (123 yds/50grams with size US7/4.5mm circular knitting needles)

The stretchy, compressible fabric of the bag is comprised of rows of knit stitches and yarn overs. The base of the bag and the strap are knit in garter stitch, so the only skills you need for this bag are: Casting On, Knit Stitch, Yarn over, Knit 2 together, and 3 Needle Bind Off (optional). You may choose to insert more colors or stripes and you may do so quite easily by changing yarn color at the beginning of round marker. You will find a note and links explaining Russian Joining.
