Amelia Wysock (NephilimMag)

A Creative Director is the creative lead at an advertising or marketing company, working with designers, artists, copywriters, publishers, sales teams, and marketers in order to create a vision for projects and products, as well as pitches to potential new clientèle. Creative Directors plan advertising, oversee the creative process and give guidance to the creative people that work under them. Sometimes they offer hands-on services as well, but generally, it is their job to approve all of the work created by their staff and often work directly with clients to present that work.

This is what I do. I am a Creative Director. I have done this for many years, but mainly behind the scenes as a freelance photographer and designer. Now that my title has officially been updated, some projects I plan are for trade and some are for profit. This will continue until my new title earns a public reputation worthy of professional status. Anyone who helps me along the way will become a valued part of my team and will profit from 100% of the work they do, especially when that includes the introduction of new clients. Potential clients include public and private individuals and companies. Whether they simply need personal photos taken, they have dreams of becoming a model, are opening a new business that needs branding and advertising… that is what we’re here for.

I already have a large number of creative people on my team, some of which have been professionals for many years, just waiting for that life-changing project to come around the corner.

Since the start of my career around about 1995, I have worked with well over 1000 people from all walks of life. Amateurs, professionals, clean-cut, edgy, etc… all amazing in their own way. I don’t travel nearly as much as I’d like to, but thanks to the internet, that hasn’t stopped me from getting to know people from all over the world. Also thanks to the world wide web, I have managed 3 amazing magazines (Strange Beauty - sold, Beautivation - handed down, and Nephilim Magazine, which I’ve run since January 2018. Nephilim caters to all genres within the beauty, fashion, and art industries, as well as pop and geek culture enthusiasts. While I contribute every so often, most of the work we feature is submitted by creative talent from all over the world, some projects suggested and directed by myself as exclusive Nephilim Magazine content. I have brought together more international creative teams than I dare attempt to count in this endeavor. We have featured the work of master photographer, Erich Caparas, musician and soundtrack composer, Ben Watkins/Juno Reactor, actors, Peter Shinkoda and Mike Dopud, and many more. We even do live video chats with industry icons such as photographers, models, actors, and fashion designers via social media. We are a non-profit publication, only using the profits from sales to keep us going. For this reason, we are seeking sponsors.

If you would like to know more about what I do and who I am, feel free to contact me. We can chat over e-mail, schedule a video meeting, or we can meet for coffee if you happen to live in the area Lancaster, NY.
