2017 Calendar: “The World of Abstract Photography by John Spinhirne” takes normal, everyday objects and surroundings and makes them into something unknown. There is no proper way to look at these images; abstract art speaks differently to everyone and orientation can lead to multiple interpretations. I work as a computer engineer in a controlled environment with minimal creative freedom. This abstract photography is my escape from those constraints, allowing me complete freedom to create unique images, even with my colorblindness.
