blue bean (issue 1): learning differences

blue bean magazine is a place where students can gather resources and information to educate others on current events and important movements.

For our first issue, we wanted to highlight the learning difference community (as well as the disability community as a whole) while also sharing various personal stories from our online platform.

While only one of our staff members have a learning difference, our team has worked hard to learn from various professionals and from personal stories you will find in this book. To refer to conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, ADD and more, we have made the conscious decision to refer to these as learning differences, not disabilities.
