The Spring Creek Copper Mine near Wilmington, South Australia, has produced almost sixty different mineral species, and is the Type Locality (from where the mineral species was first described) for five of those. It was mined from 1860 through to 1874, and again from 1906 to 1916, and is now part of the Mt Remarkable National Park. This book describes many of the minerals from the mine, and should assist collectors with identifying some of their specimens.
