Publishing California Society of Printmakers (twohat)

The California Society of Printmakers (CSP) is the oldest continuously operating association of printmakers in the United States. Founded in 1912 as the California Society of Etchers, CSP is a 501c3 nonprofit arts organization with an international membership. CSP promotes the practice and appreciation of contemporary fine art printmaking through professional development opportunities for its members and by educating the public about printmaking. The mission of CSP is to support the integrity of traditional printmaking while providing a home for artists exploring new directions in contemporary print methods. CSP provides support for its members and serves the greater community through exhibitions, artist talks, demos, lectures, artist residences and an annual journal, The California Printmaker. The CSP archive is located at the Bancroft Library on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley.
