OISTAT is a global network of theatre makers celebrating design and technology in live performance.

OISTAT generates, promotes and maintains a global network of specialist practitioners, educators and researchers who shape, challenge and imagine elements, events and environments for the live performing arts. Serves those who facilitate and create design for live performance: including practitioners, researchers, students and associated partners.

Promotes the participation of individuals, alliances and institutions as well as the formation of OISTAT centers in all regions of the world.

Enables the ongoing exchange of knowledge: sharing innovations, encouraging experimentation and promoting international collaborations in the development of live performance as well as its technologies and the space that hosts it.
