juli teitler (juliteitler)

Juli Teitler is a NYC based fashion photographer currently earning her BFA degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She enjoys creating fashion stories whilst borrowing elements from the world of fine art.

Mostly working with female models, Juli creates marketable imagery nuanced with dark subtext. She takes inspiration from the works of Helmut Newton and Irving Penn. Working both in studio and on location, she emphasizes the relationship between the subject and its surroundings.

Ms. Teitler has won honorable mention as a finalist in the 2014 Photographer Forum’s College and High-school contest, has been published in various publications such as Institute Magazine and the book “Steampunk Jewelry” by Graffito publishers and was featured in the Israeli Gindi Fashion Week, 2010.

Juli Teitler has worked with Gadi Dagon the in-house photographer of the dance company “Bat Sheva”, collaborated with the hyper realist painter Yigal Ozeri and interned for Israeli fashion photographer Ron Kedmi and British editorial and commercial photographer Jasper White.
