Link Magazine started out as a newspaper in 2001, started by Jimmy Will. In 2011 the Philadelphia Link Newspaper was converted to a magazine, which ran bi-monthly by Alicia Hartwell. At its current stage it has produced several issues, which includes local hip hop artist, rappers, models, actors, emcees, poets and community activist. The Philadelphia Link Magazine is currently released monthly by Editor in Chief, B Ra Carter. We cover events, conduct interviews, features, articles and advertising. The Philadelphia Link Magazine can be found at R&A Works in Cheltenham Mall, Black and Noble on Broad and Erie and Status Shop located on South Street. Our audience includes 24-35 year old college level readers, which you will find in open mics, lounges, bars, and who are into the arts (Music, Fashion, and Photography). Our interview history includes American Idol contestant Jermaine Jones, local artist Reality Childs, Arsin, Nala Gold of the LFL (Lingerie Football League), Da Kid Nice and DaKid Chizz.
