Gordon Nagai (Jiichan17)

I am a Nisei, a second generation American of Japanese descent. My family was interned in an American concentration camp during WWII. Upon our return after the war I grew up on our family-owned farm, attended U.C. Berkeley, graduated with a B.A. in sociology, and an M.S.W. in Social Work. I worked as a social worker and had a photography business until I retired in 2000, moving to Eugene, Oregon in 2007, where I live with my wife of 58 years and our grandchildren.
