This is a photo essay portraying my fascination of the sense of place and grounding you get when you look at your feet, and then look up to see the perspective that we typically see. Surfaces, the ground, the items on the ground, the colors, the light, the type of footware, add to our sense of place and how we interact with it. Have you missed the beauty and detail of a leaf on the ground, or the formation of sand at the beach at your feet? Have you missed the richness of colors or light or texture right before you - if only you had looked down at your feet! Don't only get lost in the vastness of the view before you. Instead, take the time to reflect at the beauty and the context of where you are by looking at your feet and the subsegment of information right below you. Step by step, let your feet take you to beautiful places. Turn the pages and enjoy the places my feet have taken me.
