Summer 2010 Issue

Our GoddessStar talks about beating the odds, while having two drug-addicted parents. The cover story features Mahogany Monae, a budding actress who is going above and beyond to build on her Hollywood dreams. Our summer events section adds positivity to the summer. The section lists activities and festivals in the Chicagoland area that we can become involved in to help stay us away from some of the negativity during the summer. Lastly, enjoy pictures from our Dear Summer...Teen Expo. This event gave our teen girls an opportunity meet great role models, while enjoying fashion, music, and beauty tips.
