Beyond White Pines is a collaboration between photographers Matt Hurst and Katie Rey that captures the recent history of several abandoned resorts in the Pocono Mountain region of Pennsylvania. Hurst and Rey document these formerly bustling vacation retreats with their respective documentary and surrealist styles. Beyond White Pines features photographs taken of the course of the past two years as well as found documents and brochures which provide further insight into the resorts' past.
