hotam#6 - Magazines

Magazines has been a project in the making for a long time. Ever since I began using the Magcloud printing for this hotam series, I had been wanting to play on the idea of magazine making. By juxtaposing existing popular magazine titles with original photographs I have taken in recent years, each page of hotam#6 is set up like a magazine cover. I attempt to create a dialogue between text and imagery, and to play with our everyday experience that is shaped by news, lifestyle, travel, daily observation and cultural memories.
