extrapolations

Over a period of several years I made thousands of photographs of trees in the woods close to my home in Toronto. It was a therapeutic experience. Everyday I would walk with my companion Charlie,a border collie. He would chase squirrels; I would chase pictures. Several years later I found myself living in the woods along the Ottawa River surrounded by completely different trees and these pictures, trying to make sense of them. It was after some time that I realized that what I had was raw material.
