Instead thumbs drawn to caress and slide and linger as if before prayers at the wordless speech of the photographs while the Storey crumbles, furls, chips, reveals and proclaims itself unable to resist the call for its own demise, the grim Scraper to come that someday soon will make a mess of it all, swept, collected and dumped into the nearest Sunset Scavenger Dumpster – it is Fate that TGDS depicts, and though this facsimile is a paltry shadow of the real thing – it is saddle stitched with pictures of saddle stitches.
