Dans cet essai photographique, j'ambitionne de montrer l’irruption de l’étrangeté dans le familier. J'y poursuis mon exploration de l'espace public et de ses paradoxes. Les photos présentées incarnent une infime partie des milliers d’arrêts sur image que j'ai réalisés à toutes heures du jour et tous jours de l’année à partir d’une caméra web en continu pointée sur un trottoir de Times Square à New York.

In this photo essay, I capture how the strange can burst into the familiar. I pursue my exploration of public places and their paradoxes. The photos presented embody a tiny fraction of the thousands of freeze frames I realized at all times of the day and all days of the year through a streaming webcam pointed at a sidewalk of Times Square in New York.
