Stumped

Nobody knows what to make of it when police discover an uncooperative young quadriplegic man in an alley. Falling into a selective catatonia whenever questioned, the only reasonable solution seems to be in keeping the person known only as "Stump" under restrained supervision and, since his body is extremely sensitive to light, his new residence becomes a basement... of a mental institution. After a number of psychologists and analysts meet unfortunate and bizarre fates after studying Stump, the cursed job is reluctantly passed on to a young student named Rose. Will Rose wilt under pressure or will this curious story finally unfold?...
