In 2005 I began working extensively in Beijing & Shanghai, teaching photography, exploring Chinese pictorial culture, and reconnecting with my memories of growing up in Asia. This project is an exploration of how it felt to be there, an emotional history of my work in China, and a meditation on what happens when cultural currents come together.
