"The Inheritance" is a post-apocalyptic, dark novella written by Levi Busch and illustrated by Pat Davis, a pair of childhood friends with a bleak, yet redemptive, message about humanity in crisis.

Levi Busch is a writer in Hanover, NH. His prose focuses on inhabiting the mind and probing a character's brain in order to project mental landscapes.

Pat Davis is an illustrator currently based in Austin, Texas. Using hand-drawn pen-and-ink, Pat's work in "The Inheritance" reveals a deep understanding of tragedy, where horror and caricature may meet but not shake hands.

"The Inheritance" is the duo's first finished work, a trial in synthesizing a unique synergy between two friends. Its message about memory and hope in a post-moral world signals an exciting future for these two.
