Allie, Don't Let me Disappear is a Photography project I started while running in the morning to combat depression and anxiety. It's name and inspiration come from my favorite novel, The Catcher In The Rye by J. D. Salinger. I started carrying my camera on my morning runs to capture the emotion I feel as I wake. The anxiety and depression I fight away as if I'm a totally different person, forcing myself to rise from bed to meet the day, like the novels main character Holden Caulfield.
