This issue of the Journal of Public Domain is the last gasp of purely idiosyncratic miscellany and occasioned, for the most part, by a time sensitive offer of a print production discount of 25%. A work in regress then. Somehwere are a few more documents I'd like to include but for now my word for that must be taken: and that copyright violation abounds here at the JPD, and it is supposed that exceptions to these may never be found or taken. That in my role as Founder, Editor and Publisher, compiling the issue has been the source of wince and fret, for what signal does a collection such as this contribute? My sense of that is vacuous, beyond that it is good to break out of shells and that in circumstances like these it may be a good wager to remember, suddenly: Design! And as justifiable to forget: Design. And with that, an old archive from an odd collection enterprise is nearly purged, and so here it is.
