Victoria Napolitano believes that everyone has a unique talent and while all paths may not lead directly to success patience and openness to self-discovery can transform that talent into a successful career. As a child, Victoria was an avid artist, constantly sketching dress designs; she had a passion for creative work and was drawn to fashion. “A soft, flowing material can be absolutely mind-bending. When you wrap yourself into a dressing gown, it can instantly whisk you away.” Her mother, grandmother and aunts all became expert seamstresses in their youth. Victoria followed in suit. Each morning, she would wake up at 6:30 am to work on quilts with her grandmother, while she watched her favorite soap operas. Victoria had a vision to move beyond quilting and create her own fashion line. “I devoured fashion books and prepared to move to London after high school. I knew everything about Chanel, patterns and designs.”
