Riding Badge Program

This is the "textbook" for the Rider Badge Program sponsored and developed by the United States Icelandic Horse Congress. This book is aimed at owners and riders of Icelandic horses who are looking to develop their knowledge of this unique breed of horse. The book includes information on basic horse keeping and horsemanship as well as topics unique to the Icelandic horse. Riders and instructors can use this text as a guide to learning more about the breed or as part of a formal course on the path to earning badges as part of the USIHC's Rider Badge Program.
