Understanding For Kids!! Genesis 15-24

Now we’re into the third book of the Genesis series. The story of our ancestors gets much deeper. Yahweh God makes some incredibly amazing promises to Abram (later called Abraham). The promises seem impossible. But Abraham believes God! That might be the main theme of this book. Even when it seems totally impossible - God still does exactly what he says. Yahweh God even asks Abraham to sacrifice his only son, who he waited almost 100 years for, and Abraham obeys God because he has FAITH in Yahweh God. Abraham believed God, and God counted that for righteousness for all generations. In addition, his promise is not only for Abraham, but for every generation, including us.
