SOMA VOICES

Kularts' 2009 Young Pin@y SOMA Voices Project is a 5-month storytelling internship for six talented youth with unique perspectives on San Francisco's historically Pilipino South of Market District. Mentored by Pilipino American artists and scholars, these youth interns vividly re-imagine the world of SOMA through creative writing, video, and visual works, while accurately illustrating their lives as Pilipin@ youth. Inside the pages of the SOMA Voices Magazine, you will find a powerful body of written and visual works created by our SOMA youth.
